Hilliker Report October 2019

Hilliker Letter October 2019

Hello from the Hillikers,

It was a great time hanging out and serving with fellow missionaries in Loreto, BCS earlier this month. Our schedule for the end of October has us visiting our church family and friends in the Sonora area. Then in December we are excited to be traveling to Cuba as part of a team to serve with a local church. Our main focus will be home visits to the elderly and prayer. Our team will also be coordinating an evangelistic youth night as an opportunity for the local church to cultivate relationships with young people from the community.  It is a joy and a blessing to be able to stay in touch with so many amazing people. Thank you for being part of our team and family.

October 2019 Newsletter

Within days of our return to Loreto, we were busy organizing and preparing for the coming outreaches.  This weekend was just one more example of how much we have to be thankful for and how much praise is owed to our wonderful Savior and Lord.  Over 80 people prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior.  Great News!  Praise the Lord!  Click on the link above to see photos and read the rest of the story.

Partners in Ministry

Greetings from Mexico!  We are having a wonderful summer and so excited to see how God is continuing to change lives.  A few days ago we were talking to one of our Angels and they were telling us how exciting it has been learning about God and the Bible as they are attending Bible School.  We love to hear how God is using the youth we have been working with in ministry.

Attached is our latest newsletter to assist you in knowing what is happening in San Vicente and beyond.

May God richly bless you

June 2019 Newsletter

Dear Friends,

We pray you are well!  We hope you had a nice Father’s Day weekend!  Our Sunday was full!  I had a chance to lead worship with the band (which was totally outside of my comfort zone without Buky by my side) and Buky preached a message about the love of our Heavenly Father.  We finished off the afternoon eating fish tacos with Buky’s family.  It was a blessed day!

Please be praying for my brother-in-law, Pastor Jr.  He is serving in Cuba this week with a group from Mexican Medical led by Amy Fuller.

We hope you enjoy the attached newsletter that goes into more detail about the spring teams and ministry at La Esperanza.  We continue to make preparations for our summer teams that will be arriving in July.

Thanks so much for your interest in our ministry!

God bless you!

May Newsletter

May was another busy month for us here in Loreto, but very exciting as we have had Adriana Payton-Kruska and Gill Kruska with us providing teaching in four churches on ‘How to manage or avoid Diabetes’…  Also our Pastor’s Fellowship has gone over another hurdle here in Loreto during this past month, and so we have formed a new group called ‘Agape’ – hopefully all of the Pastors will join with us now…

In addition our English Church attendance has dwindled as many people leave Loreto for the summer, but we will resume in the fall as people return…

Please pray for our next outreach in the Santa Rosalía Prison as we are encountering a couple of frustrations that we are trying to work out… But as in the past, the Lord brings everything together for His glory – so we are anticipating another wonderful time in the prison this month…

Attached is our Report with photos and details…  Thank you again for your prayers and support!
