Serving in Central Baja, Mexico
Bill serves as a volunteer pilot flying short-term medical missionaries deep into the Baja Peninsula. Bill made his first flight as a volunteer pilot for Mexican Medical in 1992 when he flew a medical team to El Buen Pastor in San Quintín. Since then, he has flown more than 100 missions throughout Baja, safely transporting short term medical missionaries and staff.
Bill holds advanced pilot certificates and ratings and has flown more than 2500 hours. He holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate for single-engine and multi-engine airplanes and he is an FAA Authorized Flight Instructor and Instrument Flight Instructor. Bill also holds an Associates of Science degree from San Diego Miramar College in Aviation.
While on the mission field, Bill assists the medical teams by serving as a dental assistant when needed, performing primary eye care vision testing, dispensing eye glasses and making himself available where needed.
Bill also serves the ministry of Mexican Medical as a member of our Board of Directors.
Bill loves to see how the Lord uses the skills of the medical missionaries to demonstrate the tangible love of God to the poor. He is reminded of how Jesus demonstrated His compassion using His healing power to meet the physical needs of hurting people. Bill says that he is both thankful and humbled to participate in this ministry by flying the healing and the hope of the Gospel into Baja.

- That we listen and hear the voice of God so that we focus our efforts where God wants us to.
- That many will come to know Christ through the teams.
- For safety in travel.
