Serving in Loreto
Email: loreto.ministries@gmail.com

Don and Lorraine Karsgaard are missionaries with Healing & Hope International (Canada) and Mexican Medical Ministries (USA). Over the years Don and Lorraine have lived in San Diego, CA; Kelowna, Vancouver, Rossland and Trail, B.C.; Calgary, Alberta; and also in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to serving the Lord in these communities, they have also been involved in missionary endeavors in Western and Eastern Europe.

Don and Lorraine have 3 grown children. Their oldest son, Jason and his wife, Joy, live in Sequim, WA. Their daughter, Deborah and her husband, Peter, and their daughter, Grace, live in Langley, BC. And their youngest son, Nathan and his wife, Carrie, live in Kelowna, BC.

Don has been a youth worker, and was also a pastor for a number of years. Don has spent 15 years in the Sales and Management fields, taught Law at the O.U.C. University in Kelowna, and has spent over 15 years in missions, with responsibilities reaching to Western and Eastern Europe, and more recently to Mexico.

Don has been the Administrator and the Director of Development for Mexican Medical Ministries in the U.S.A. and in Canada, which means he has been involved in organizing and assisting the home office staff at the Mexican Medical headquarters in San Diego; and has also managed the Canadian office. Lorraine also has extensive experience in office administration and secretarial services and has served in the Mexican Medical office as well. Together they have been involved in mobilizing individuals and teams of people, (from junior-high through senior-adult), to go to Mexico for a week or more, (or for even just a few days), to assist with the mission's medical services, construction needs and outreach activities, and to help with the evangelistic ministries of the national church.

Today, Don and Lorraine are Area Missionaries to Loreto, Mexico; and they are always looking for individuals and teams, from Churches and Schools, to go to Mexico to help them with the practical and evangelistic outreach ministries they coordinate with the local Mexican Churches.
