On March 27-29, a group of friends of the Gabriel House from Reality Church in Carpinteria, CA spent a long weekend serving there, through construction and caring for the kids. What a fun-filled, jammed-packed weekend we had! Work on the first boys' dorm was completed and the boys are now moved into their new room and loving it. We were able to take most of the children on several field trips which included the park and to a local church service, followed by lunch at the "tres cabezas" near the big flag in Ensenada. Several of the "boys" helped build and paint their ladders for their bunk beds and many of the children participated in art projects-can you say "paint everywhere?" We also had the opportunity to talk about Easter and share the "Resurrection Eggs" story with them. We are thankful for so many of you who sharesupport in this special ministry with us.
