Partner in Ministry,

We were so excited to hear the people of San Vicente share about their mission’s trip to Nayarit (central Mexico).  I, Dave, had the opportunity to accompany the church on their early mission trips and now it is awesome to see them doing the trips all on their own.  It is clear God is working in many of their lives.

I, Dave, am feeling really good and walking several mornings each week for over an hour.  It feels so good to not have any negative feeling which had been so much a part of my life the past 3 years.  We thank God for the medical team which has worked to improve my life and give me back some energy.

We have attached our latest newsletter for you to know what is happening in our ministry and assist as you pray for us and the ministry.  Thank you for your continued prayer, encouragement, and support.

Greetings from Baja California!  We are doing well and still love the opportunity to serve in Mexico.

The weather has been on the cool side the past couple of weeks with morning temperatures near freezing and below.  We feel sorry for so many of the people living here because they have no heat or insulation in their homes and so it is cold in the morning.  I have been walking before sunrise and see lots of people going to work between 5:00 and 6:30 am.  Most are all bundled up to try and stay comfortable.

We have attached our latest newsletter for your information and assist you as you pray for us and the ministry.

Partners in Ministry,

We had an awesome Thanksgiving both at the local church and at our mission base. Wednesday evening we attended a special Thanksgiving service at the local church followed by a delicious full turkey dinner. Even though Mexico has no “Thanksgiving Day” the local church has a day to reflect on how God has blessed them during the previous year. It truly is amazing to listen to them tell how God has worked in their lives during the past year.

Then on Thanksgiving Day we invited some local pastors and friends to join us for fun afternoon. Lynne prepared a traditional turkey dinner complete with all the trimmings and Angelia brought homemade pumpkin pie which was awesome! This made for an enjoyable and fun afternoon with the last of the guests leaving late in the afternoon.

We have attached our latest newsletter to give you a taste of what is happening in the ministry.   This fall we have had more opportunities to partner with local churches and it was so great to see how each church reached out to their communities. It was awesome to see local churches sharing Jesus and praying with their friends, family, and neighbors. Often our part is that of support and bringing special medical and dental skills which provides special attraction to the community.

We pray you have an wonderful Christmas season with family and friends

Vision is to see people, places and things not just as they are, but the way they could be.

Partners in Ministry,

Greetings from Mexico! It seems that when we think something will be a challenge and are concerned about what and how to approach a topic or situation God often has prepared those involved. A couple of weeks ago we needed to deal with an issue and when we met with the men it seemed that the issue was already taken care of the solution was easy. We have a great God who knows what is needed and often has the solution in place before we even start.

Last week I was talking with Pastor Jose about “their” missions in January and it is so exciting to hear what they have planned. Again The Angels will be doing much of the ministry. They will also be teaching other youth some of what they have learned being part of the team sharing Jesus. Lynne and I are so pleased to see how God is using the youth from San Vicente to challenge other young people for Jesus.

A couple of weeks ago we heard that a Nazarene university in California has heard about The Angels and is sending a small team to study how they are ministering and how The Angels came into existence. Really exciting to see how the youth of San Vicente have influenced people in the States.

Attached is our latest newsletter to assist you in knowing what is happening and how best to pray for the ministry.

Recently the electric power company repaired and replaced all the street light bulbs in our area. (Many had stopped working over the years) What is very interesting is that now the light directly across the street from the mission base now shines brightly on the mural. This is the mural depicting the disciples drawing the net, in Luke 5, after Jesus told them to cast their net on the opposite side of the boat. How interesting that the brightest light is now on the mural all night.

The church leaders told us that they had decided to not do their annual missions trip to save money to help the church they are starting in Ojos Negros. But the Angels asked if they raise the funds needed would they allow them to continue the mission’s trip they were planning? They affirmed the Angels desire and they youth went to work. Shortly after they started giving their money to the church account adults begin signing up also. There is room for 14 Angels (one van load) and now there is a waiting list for the Angels and more adults have signed up then there is room in their van. Pastor told us this past week that the Angels continue to lead the church to do more for Jesus.

We are thrilled to see this group of young people having a desire to serve God and others. Just as in past this past Sunday 8 of the 9 people on the worship team leading the morning worship service were Angels.

Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and support. Attached is our latest newsletter to assist you in knowing what is happening with this ministry. God bless you!
