HOW TO GET INVOLVED?

You can bring your own complete team for construction, childrenโs ministry, and/or medical services project.
Join a Team
We have regularly scheduled teams open to individuals who want to serve.

Our Work
During the summer months, the clinic is busy with groups from the United States and Canada who come for a week for a short-term mission trip. During the week, the groups are involved in chapel, work projects, VBS and film ministry. They also attend the church services offered throughout the week. During the other months, La Esperanza hosts various medical teams who come from anywhere from a weekend to three months.
These medical teams include dentists, chiropractors, audiologists, ophthalmologists, general practitioners, nurse practitioners and more. The people in the camps are blessed by the services provided by these professionals, but, more importantly, each person that comes to the clinic hears the Good News of Jesus Christ our Savior. La Esperanza is a growing ministry with various outreaches. Please consider joining our team and changing lives both physically and spiritually.
Construction
You donโt need to have construction experience. Construction projects include a variety of skills, and we will use the gifts of your team to the best of their abilities. Each Caravan Team that comes to one of our sites is assigned a construction project. It may be building at the site itself, at a local church, or at a house for a pastor or doctor. The building projects are done to meet needs in order for the gospel of Jesus Christ to be presented.
Health Fair Ministry
Some teams will work with a local church to conduct a health fair for the people in the community. A health fair teaches children about hygiene, handwashing, and more. Health fair stations are set up to teach both physical and spiritual health through a variety of games, demonstrations, and printed materials.
VBS
Groups participate by assisting a local national church in presenting the gospel of Christ to Mexican children. Groups bring resources to help teach Bible stories through puppet and drama skits, and provide and assist in making crafts and playing games.
Film Ministry
Groups are given the opportunity to participate in the showing of Evangelical Christian movies in the communities or work camps in the area they are serving. Thousands of people have been reached through this ministry.
