Angela is 22 years old and currently lives in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. She is the daughter of Angelina Garcia, who serves with Mission Flight alongside mission groups that conduct medical clinics. Last year, Angela began her university studies to become a dentist. This has been Angela’s dream for the past few years, and beginning this journey fills her with joy and purpose.

Her desire to become a dentist was born when she was 14 years old. At that time, Angela would see medical mission teams coming to serve the community. Helping these teams made her feel full of life, as she could also sense the gratitude of the people being helped. From a young age, Angela learned from her mother the value of serving others and the joy that comes from doing so. She desires to serve and help those in need wherever they may be.

It was at one of these clinics that Angela heard a doctor say that God has given each of us gifts, and our duty is to use them to worship Him. Those words have stayed with her ever since. Angela is part of our scholarship fund, which supports missions-minded Mexican nationals who are studying to become health care professionals. After graduating, Angela will serve with Mexican Medical Ministries.
You can be part of this story. Through your support, students like Angela can continue their education and prepare to serve others through the gifts God has given them.
